1939 INTERNATIONAL STERLING "PRELUDE" 53 PIECES FULL SERVICE FOR 12 w/ Chest Superb Set This lovely Estate set of International Sterling in the "Prelude" pattern came from an exceptional family estate auction held in the Midwest. Condition is superb. Certainly could use a soft polish which I have not done and am selling this set of Sterling exactly as purchased at auction. Pattern is crisp. Rosettes are clean. Quality is excellent. Many of the pieces appear to be unused. T are very few, or hardly any surface marks on the bowls of spoons, blades of knives, which can be the case, given the age, of some Estate Sterling. T is no monogram on any of the pieces. Extremely clean. The chest is huge. Extremely long...Some surface wear to the top. Red Interior. No Monogram. Approx Measurements Box 21 1/4"L by 13"D by 4"H Whopping Weight 5lbs 1.6oz Set Consists of the Following 53 Pcs Service for 12 12 Dinner Forks 7 1/4" 12 Salade Forks 6 1/2" 12 Knives 9 1/4" 8 knives w/ 3 3/4" Sterling handle 4 w/ 4 3/4"handle 12 Teaspoons 6" 1 spreader 5 3/4' 1 Soup spoon 6 3/8" 3 Serving Spoons Slotted 8 3/8" Total Weight 5lbs 8.4oz Reg Scale This is a wonderful and complete set of sterling. In remarkable condition and free of unwarranted marks or monogram.
