No 532Dapol (ex Mainline) D48 Class 43XX Green 2-6-0 Mogul 2 Herewith a Dapol (ex Mainline) model of a class 43XX locomotive in GWR livery. This particular class of locomotive was introduced in 1911 and was built to a design by Churchward. The locomotive was purchased in the early 90's and would have been manufactured sometime between 1985 and 1990. The box is Dapol but the underside of the locomotive says Mainline this is because Dapol purchased Mainline and continued to market the remnant stocks under the Dapol name. The locomotive is in very good condition and comes complete with its original box, crew and detachable front coupling. The box is in fair condition although it has suffered some wear and tear consistent with its age. All buffers, fittings and couplings etc. are intact and in good order. NB: One of the handbrakes in the front of the tender has broken at some time and been repaired, this however has been expertly carried out and so does not mar the appearance of the tender. The locomotive runs well although it has spent the last few years in storage and so if this locomotive is to be put into regular use, I'd recommend a service. A nice item for any fan of the GWR
