54 PC SET 8+ PLACESETTINGS SPRING GARDEN HOLMES EDWARDS 1949 INLAID This listing is for a full 53 piece flatware set for 8 in the pattern SPRING GARDEN by Holmes & Edwards / International which dates back to 1949. Each piece is marked with Holmes & Edwards inlaid and an IS for international Silver. If you were to buy these pieces from Replacements, the cost would be over $500.00!! It also comes with a red felt lined, anti tarnish, Art Deco wooden storage chest (has scratches and is not original to set-it is a Community chest). HOWEVER- If you would like to save money on shipping, I can send the flatware ALONE without the box, in a Priority flat rate box with delivery confirmation, anyw in the U.S. for only $10.00 (just email me prior to paying and I will send a new invoice) This set is in very good condition and does NOT appear to be used.(I bought it from an estate that has FIVE whole sets of silver!) It has NO dings, dents or bends and NO MONOGRAM and NO WEAR.
