Over 5400 35mm slides Photographer was a professor of agronomy - these are pictures of leaves, seeds, roots of all kinds of crops, mostly tropical, (rice, yams, coconuts, peanuts, tara, etc) . Slides are from research done from 1964 to 1989 or perhaps a little later.
Slides from Hawaii, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Western and American Samoa, Puerto Rico, Tahiti, Thailand Tonga and other locations.
Some charts and tables, crop machinery and the few stray livestock slides and even a glimpse of scenery once and a while. Slides are of professional quality, very clear, vibrant color and in EXCELLENT CONDITION. They have been stored and will be shipped in archive sleeves that hold 20 slides each.
Most of the slides have a brief note on them by the photographer.
I will also be listing some agronomy research photos from the same collection so watch my seller's list.
I recently purchased a huge collection of slides and photos from the estate of a professor from Hawaii who traveled throughout the world on study assignments and pleasure trips. I will be listing several sets of slides in a variety of categories so check my seller's list.
