55 LB Copper Ingot From Upper Peninsula Michigan Mine

This is a copper ingot from the upper peninsula of Michigan. It is pretty substantial in size, weighing in at just a few onces over 55 pounds. It is about 19 inches long, 3 3/4 inches wide and a little over 3 inches high. It is still quite shiny inspite of its age. I bought it at an auction in Minnesota and don't know if it was cleaned up or not. However the auctioneer said he believed it to be museum quality. The copper industry has long since shut down in the upper peninsula region of Michigan so this would be quite a collectable item. One end of the ingot has 'CR' molded on the top. The other end has some writing with a red magic marker that would probably come off with a little rubbing. Shipping will be determined by weight and winners zip code after the auction is closed. Thanks for looking at my auction and good luck bidding on this fascinating piece of Americana!
