Welcome to AF Trains 'n More Three Principles of Fast, No-Risk Shopping: One Business Day Handling Fourteen Day "No Questions Asked" Warranty Return Postage Paid by Seller About this car: Most S-Gauge collectors, even those who own some K-Line S-Gauge cars, probably have not seen this car or others like it. K-Line originally manufactured boxcars in 027 gauge using (it is rumored) a Marx mold. This same mold was later used to produce the S-Gauge line of boxcars by K-Line. Among the original 027 offerings was a series (numbered 57xx) of double door auto carriers, wherein the cars are stored inside the boxcar. To the best of our knowledge, no S-Gauge manufacturer has issued a similar design, and indeed, K-Line did not issue this series of cars in S-Gauge. Using one hundred percent original new K-Line parts, I have converted this car from the original 027 Gauge to S-Gauge for two rail collectors. It matches in size and dimensions exactly all S-Gauge offerings from K-Line which you may have in your collection, typically with model numbers beginning with a 511- prefix. Please remember that due to the dearth of K-Line parts available today, the price for this car reflects the fact that I must purchase two K-Line boxcars to produce this car, the original 027 for the frame and shell, and a S-Gauge for the wheel sets.
