This is a great example of a British-issue beret to 59 Independent Commando Squadron, Royal Engineers. The size is 58cm which is a large size. It has a leather band with its full-length inner ribbon. It is fully lined on the interior with black cotton.The commando-green beret material are in used but excellent condition. It has a small flap and looks great when worn. The badge at front is a blackened staybrite version, which is the way the Squadron always wears its badge.Included also are a set of staybrite shoulder titles which are in brand-new condition. There are also a pair of RE collar dogs which are in used but very good condition.Also in this set is a shoulder title to the Army Commandos. This is a desert version. Copper-coloured thread embroidered onto a sand-coloured, cotton background. Merrowed edge. 4 1/4" in length. Used but very good condition.There is also a 3 Command Brigade TRF. In used but good condition. Measures 2 1/2" by 2 1/2". Black thread embroidered onto an olive-green cloth. Merrowed edge.Lastly there is a commando dagger patch. This is in used but very good condition. Red and black embroidered thread on a black cotton background. 2 1/2" in height.Bidding starts at £7.00 and there is no reserve.
