5pc Great Quality Floral Sterling Silver Tea Coffee Set Presented is a fine quality good weight 5-piece sterling silver tea and coffee set. Each piece has a rounded body raised on four ornate, feet decorated with a single rosebud and its leaves. The handle and spout of each piece is also decorated with roses and leaves. The covers of the teapot, coffeepot and sugar bowl have large leaf decorations. The tea and coffee pot have heat insulators. The handles are strong and tight to the body. Nothing is loose. All pieces are marked on the underside with the word Sterling and the number 950 for silver purity. This set is actually higher in purity than sterling silver. The set was made in Japan between the 1930s to the 1950s. It was probably made for the American market, and tfore marked sterling, but as I said previously it is actually slightly higher in purity than sterling silver. Although this set is not stamped Japan, and does not have any Japanese hallmarks, it was definitely made in Japan. The style and the two marks are certainly Japanese. This set is in excellent condition. T are one or two tiny dents. Otherwise t are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, no repairs and no other problems of any kind. The set has a beautiful rich silver patina, not the rosy color that you see in some of the photographs. The combined weight of this set is 2436 or 78.3 troy ounces.
