Being offered in this sale is a group of five early American pressed glass egg cups in the DIAMOND POINT pattern that were made by either the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company or the New England Glass Company c1860s. The glass is BRILLIANT clear flint glass that resonates like a bell when you tap it. These pieces are part of a 13 piece collection that I am listing today on Ebay and represent the second half of a local gentleman's personal collection. I sold the first part of the collection earlier this year. Several of the forms I believe are fairly scarce. They measure 3 3/4" tall x 2 1/2" in diameter. The condition of all five pieces is excellent. T are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding. Please feel free to email with any questions.
