Civil War veterans reunion badge- celluloid tin badge w 3"pale green ribbon- badge w photo illus of Colonel Thomas Chamberlain, 5th Pa Reserves, for the "Annual Reunion, 5th Regt PRVC Williamsport, Pa, May 11, 1898". Ribbon worn & badge stained. Tom Chamberlain was Major of the 5th Pa reserves, wounded at Newmarket Crossroads, Va, 1862, and later Major w the 150th Pa Bucktails. The 5th, (also called the 34th Pennsylvania Infantry) had a distinguished combat record, & fought at Little Round Top, Gettysburg.
