This auction is for an interesting estate found bottle. Not exactly sure of the age but assume somew between late 1800's to early 1900's. I'll try to describe so you can make an educated decision. Bottle is a heavy aqua green colored glass that stands 6 1/2" tall. Base is about 2 3/8" in diameter and carries the same dimension up the sides till it reaches the top. Mold seams stop at the base [ do not go through base ] and at the top [ do not go all the way through the mouth piece. Top flairs out and is flat on the top. Hole tapers in probably for a cork. Base is thicker on one side than the other. Bottom of bottle has an indent - raised outside edge is somewhate rounded. I can see bubbles that were manufactured in the glass. Raised lettering on the bottle reads: CRYSTAL BOTTLING WORKS GALVESTON, TEX. At the very base on the edge also in raised letters is I.C.CO. 133. No chips or cracks found on top lip, bottom, or bottle but t is age wear seen on a few letters. I'm not a bottle collector but am willing to try to answer any questions you might have. All my auctions are sold as found so please email your questions before bidding. Total weight of bottle is 13.5 oz. Priority mail in a box and only actual shipping charged. Thanks for looking.
