0-6-0 155 SWITCHER LOCOMOTIVE CHASSIS HO GILBERT AF AMERICAN FLYER 1940's PARTSNO DAMAGEI've been told this model 155 is a pre WWII model. FACTORY ORIGINAL VINTAGE PARTS! The smoke unit was tested and it works well. I added a few drops of smoke and it fired right up and puffed away!The chassis is in rough shape and need a good cleaning. The drive rod plating is in fair shape. HO SCALE OILED & BENCH TESTED AND RAN WELL - I have two forms with which I test. I sometimes use my Marklin brand tester with stainless steel bearings/rollers but most commonly I use a ~5' long piece of straight track mounted to a board. Sometimes when a tender is required and none is available, I simply use power leads and contact the drawbar/pin or lead wire and somewhere on the underside body of the locomotive. - This loco was tested this way. I CAN NOT TRACK & SWITCHING OPERATIONS TEST - (I CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE A LAYOUT ). See my ABOUT ME BIO below for my reason why... I HAVE EXAMINED ALL THE GEARING.
