Six vintage Earl Moran one month advertising calendar pages from 1953. Each measures 8 1/2 x 14 3/4 inches. Advertising for Ephrata Shoe Co, Pennsylvania and Snow White Cleaners, Dennison Texas. February - gold evening gown, "You can lead a man to an idea but you can't make him think". Excellent condition. April - reclining redhead in green sun suit,"Turning it over in your mind won't get the field plowed". Excellent. July - toy cannon, "T's lots of difference between a big shot and a big noise". Near mint. September - redhead talking to turtle, "Even a turtle gets now until he sticks his neck out". Near mint. October - making a mess with dough, "Work is the yeast that raises the dough". Excellent. December - redhead giving change to an organ grinder's monkey, "It isn't' what you've got - its what you do with it that counts". Chipped at edges, yellowing on back, image is fine, but over all is poor condition. Guaranteed old and as described, not a newer reprint or reproduction. Be sure to check seller's other auctions for more vintage calendar art including Mexican, pin up, children, cabin art etc. Buyer to pay postage and insurance. Items can be combined for shipping.
