I'm listing these for my best friend. She had them in her 'to the trade only' showroom (fashion) in NYC. She purchased them t and is now retiring the showroom to pursue other ventures. This listing is for SIX plywood/beechwood stackable 'General purpose' chairs. Designed by Peter Hvidt and Molgaard Nielsen, in 1944, manufactured by Thornet in Vienna around 1950 or just prior. They have the "General Purpose chairs-Jens Risom Design Inc." label. This label indicates that they were either sold from the Jens Risom location on Madison Ave in NYC or were part of the actual showroom & studio. They are in pretty good shape with standard wear but not too much. I'm a good photographer, but they are so much nicer in person. It's hard to find sets, and I hope that this set of six finds the right home!! The price for shipping is PER CHAIR so six times whatever the price is will be the cost of shipping.
