The Chicken Marks is, "PLYMOUTH Stoneware Company, Fort Dodge, Ia. ~ Trade Mark" This is one Great Fort Dodge Butter Churn and is also the Largest Plymouth Butter Churn that was made by the Fort Dodge Stoneware Company! We do not have the Lid. It is believed that the Plymouth Stoneware Pottery was made in Marshalltown, Iowa around 1909. You are purchasing this just as we found it! T is one small nick on the top and one small nick just above the base, (see photos). This is not unexpected from a piece of this age, being approximately 100 years old! The Butter Churn measures 10" wide and 19" tall. This has the Band around it, just above the center, w the potter joined the Top and Bottom. You will look long and hard to find another History Pottery Piece like this one! IF the Buyer is within driving distance, we can make arrangements for a meeting, rather than shipping the Butter Churn. If you know any information we may have forgotten, let us know and we will include this in the description. WE DO NOT CLAIM TO BE EXPERTS IN EVERY FIELD, SO PLEASE EMAIL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS
