(6) HAVILAND LIMOGES GOLD/MAROON "FRAGONARD" COURTING SCENE CABINET PLATES HAVILAND Limoges France Fragonard Courting Scene Set of 68-1/2" Plates Lovely set of 6 vintage very elegant 8-1/2" gold encrusted china plates by Haviland Limoges France that feature romantic "Fragonard" courting scene patterns - gorgeous! PATTERN: White porcelain ground; center features a French style courting scene (transfer); heavy gold encrusted rim with an embossed flower pattern; inner maroon red verge line; band of gold lace; coupe rim (not scalloped); 4 different complimentary scenes. MARKINGS Four plates are not marked. The other two plates are marked in gold "Limoges France" and "Haviland France" in green. (Obviously a matched set).
