These are six (6) nice Photos related to the Mackinac Bridge connecting the Lower and Upper Peninsulas in Michigan - images are from 1955 - 1957 during the Bridge construction. Created by TimeFramed Publishing from transparencies found at the State of Michigan Archives in Lansing Michigan, professionally printed at University Lithographers in Ann Arbor Michigan. Very clear detail printed on a glossy photo-type paper. Includes a great Bridge drawing by the engineer consulting company, and a fantastic shot of John F. Kennedy at the Bridge Grand Opening in 1957. Engineer drawing measures 9" x 8", Kennedy pict measures 5" x 8", and the other four range from 3" x 5" to 5" x 6". Nice little quality set of images from 1957 era. ALSO comes with a great 12-page Booklet on Michigan History from the beginning through the 1800s, Hard to find.
