Beautiful Tea & Coffee Service plus additional toothpick urn and two candle holders Rogers Sterling Beautiful shape for being 'used' No monograms THIS ITEM IS BEING RELISTED DUE TO A PREVIOUS BIDDER'S 'MISTAKE' All totalled, this service weighs an impressive 2054 grams - or over 66 troy ounces I wish I knew what the pattern was called but the closest I could come was a type of 'Gadroon'. If anyone has any additional information, I would welcome an email. The two candle holders are not original to the set but rather, a set that I've had stashed back until now. The pattern, while not exact, is a very close match and compliments this sterling coffee service beautifully. The particulars of this set are as follows: 1 Coffee Pot - 11 1/2 X 10 1/2 1 Tea Pot - 10 1/2 X 10 1/2 Creamer - 5 1/2 Sugar and lid - 6 3/4 Waste Bowl - 4 1/2 Toothpick urn - 3 2 Candle holders - 2 1/2 All measurements are approximate and include filials and any handles. T is one small 'ting' to the waste bowl - almost undetectable, and a very, very shallow crease on the sugar. Other than what was mentioned, t are no serious dings, tings, or dents to indicate abuse or neglect. This set was obviously well taken care of. All filials are straight and firmly attached. The handles are secure and show no 'wiggle' or loosening. The honey-colored bakelite heat separators are intact. The lid hinges are smooth and tight. The entire set is sturdy and level. Naturally, this is estate sterling and tfore, has been used. T are the usual use and polishing marks but relatively speaking, they are very minor. Please view the pictures carefully. I generally take my photographs outside in sunlight to accurately depict the colors and conditions of the items I am offering. If you see any discolorations or other anomalies that would indicate damage, it is either the sun, the clouds, the trees, or me. Due to the value of this listing, insurance is required. Also, due to the sheer size of this offering... it is packed in two separate boxes and the combined shipping charge should be approximately $45.00 plus insurance. If I have overstated the shipping... I will promptly issue a refund (and I have done so on numerous occasions) So please wait until I send an invoice. I try to fully and faithfully disclose any irregularities I find but I am far from perfect and some things may escape my detection. Also, when damage (no matter how minute) I try to make sure that it is clearly depicted in the photos. I believe that I have described the above auction offering accurately and in detail. He has a warehouse that is stockpiled with sterling items that he has purchased over the last 28 years of business, including more than 100 different silver flatware sets. With the soaring price of silver, he had decided to send them all to the smelter to be melted down. Instead, I convinced him to let me try to offer them on Ebay so that they would not be destroyed.
