6 various thimble s, made of semi-precious stones Description: These interesting thimbles were made in various countries during the 20th century. All are nicely made from (semi-precious) stones, gems or minerals. Most are hand carved. The thimbles have an attractive appearance and are in good condition, without damages or repairs. These thimbles measure between 22 mm (7/8 inch) and 29 mm (1 1/8 inch) high. This group consists of six different thimbles and definitely includes some rarities. Included are (left to right on first picture): (1) an amethyst thimble, carved(2) a soap stone or steatite thimble, carved with flowers(3) an agate thimble, carved(4) a turquoise thimble, nicely carved, possibly South-American(5) a lapis lazuli thimble, plain(6) a jade thimble with carved surface.Please view the pictures which give an honest impression of the quality and condition of these interesting collector's items. These rare thimbles will make a wonderful addition to any thimble and needle ware collection. I guarantee authenticity of these interesting collector's items, originating from a Dutch private thimble collection, which will be offered on eBay USA and eBay UK simultaneously.
