Approximately 600 35mm slides from the estate of Colonel Alfred E. Coffey, US Army. Photos were taken while the Colonel served as Military Attache' to the U.S. Embassy in Bogata, Colombia during the early 1960's.
Please accept my apologies for the quality of the images I have only an old dusty viewer that makes the condition of the slides appear to be much poorer than they actually are. If you'll look carefully you will notice the apparent scratches are all in the same places. 99.99% of that is dust in my viewer. Approximately 150 of the slides are Kodachrome. Approximately 20 slides were taken with B&W reversal film. See third image. Approximately 114 of the slides are Ektachrome. Considering the age of the slides the color is pretty good. The first two images above are taken from Ektachrome slides in typical condition. The remaining slides do not indicate what film was used. At least four of the images above were taken from the unidentified slides. The gentleman at the desk and the gents in the lab are two of them. Can't remember the others. A Google search for Colonel Alfred E. Coffey will provide much more interesting information for this decorated WWII veteran.
