LOT 6288Seller's Estimate: USD 300 - 500Details: This lot consists of the vintage railroad ephemera and photographs shown in the corresponding images.Included in this lot are black and white railroad photographs, rail car blueprints of the Hart-Otis Car Company, NOS letterhead and envelopes from the Upper Canada Railway Society (1941), and matted prints. Train cars depicted represent Victoria Iron, Canadian Furnace Limited,Davenport Gas-Electric, and S.J. Groves & Sons, among others. Many of the photographs in this lot are stamped "Compliments of Andrew Merrilees Limited / Rails, Track Supplies, Switch Material" or "A.A. Merrilees & Co. / Machinery, Equipment, Steel, Metals" on the back. Also present is at least one limited edition color photo by Ivan T. Payne.To inspect and acquire more detailed information about this lot, please attend our live preview before the auction.Condition / Notes: These pieces, ranging in size from approximately 4 1/2" x 3" to 13" x 9", may display some age/wear indications, including curling, age toning, and minor edge wear.
