This Auction Is For The Super-Scarce Texas Dept. Of Public Safety Blue On Gray Safety Patch. This Patch Is The Finest I Have Ever Seen And Is In Unsewn Condition With Only Slight Moth Damage To The Wool Felt In A Small Area On The Edge Outside The Blue Border. This Patch Is The Winter Version And Features Blue Thread On A Gray Felt Background And A "Cheesecloth" Backing. Very Few Examples Of The "Gray Series" Patches Are Seen Due To The Fact That They Were Worn For Such A Short Period Of Time.
