Up for auction this black leather recliner and ottoman by famed Danish designer Ib Kofod Larsen and distributed by Bovenkamp Furniture of the Netherlands in the 1960s This piece shows its pedigree, from its beautiful form to the supple leather used for the upholstery. This chair will swivel, tilt, and lock into place via a handle located on the side. Both ottoman and chair feature attractive teak bases, the ottoman is adjustable as well. Head rest pillow is adjustable/removeable. Chair measures: 33" wide 18" seat height 29" deep 39" back height Ottoman 22" wide 17" deep 14" tall We have rated the condition of this piece good- a 8.5 out of a perfect 10. The leather shows quite a bit of distress but NO punctures. Teak frame is chipped on one leg, easily filled in, and some of the plastic feet have snapped right at the end. [SEE PICS FOR ALL OF THESE ISSUES] This is an incredible piece of Danish design that with some TLC could make an incredible statement to your collection.
