You are bidding on a large drop dead gorgeous vintage 1960s Danish cased glass ceiling pendant lamp this is Danlite do not be disillusioned by the Long Island NY address ... Danlite Inc was a 100 % Danish firm that imported everything about it is Denmark ... even the Union Workers ! (see the stamp inside the original ceiling cap) the glass portion is Kastrup Holmegaard ...t is no longer a Holmegaard sticker ...but we are certain of it we have ads & articles for Danlite in our 60s design magazines well ...we searched through over 80 of those magazines today ...and ofcourse we can't find the ads ...sorry ,,, we have given up for the day ...we are going crosseyed looking (surely down the road...when the lamp is long gone ...we will find the articles again !) we do have a picture of a green Holmegaard pendant lamp with a sticker we could show ... and the green is identical...but the form of the pendant is different anywho ...........back to the lamp .... it had 1 owner ...and it is in superb vintage condition everything is original ...the cap, the wiring , the socket ... and all is clean and in perfect working order the glass is in pristine condition ....not a nick or blip anyw ..... and it is THICK ..... with a beautifully cased white interior note: I noticed some graininess in a few images...; that is because I was forcing the camera to shoot without a flash ... t is ofcourse no graininess to the fabulous glass pendant the only thing to mention is 1 very slight curve in the black rubber coated wiring ....because we hung it lower than it had been prior to us purchasing it (and we have had it in a bin for dafe keeping at least 2 years now ) I had no intention of selling it ...but my dream of hanging a different shaped / Scandinavian colored pendant from each recessed light receptor in our living room ...has been put to rest permanently by my more design sensible ??? husband (notice we have a large yellow one listed as well ) size: as shown ..... it is hanging 2 feet down from the ceiling the glass alone is 29 1/2" circumference , 16" tall about 10" diameter guess thats about all you need to know ! buyer pays UPS shipping THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO ACTUALLY READ THIS .. & READ OUR FEEDBACK as well ...we are 1 of the GOOD GUYS ....
