62 Souvenir & Collector Spoons ~ including Sterling, Pewter & Enamel This is an assortment of 62 souvenir and collector spoons taken from my own personal collection that I have been selling off for going on three years now. T are a wonderful variety of pieces in this lot including three Sterling silver, four pewter including two GISH crafted, one Mexican Alpaca silver, silver-plated, EPNS (electroplated nickel-silver) and other metals including brass. T are spoons from Canada, United States, Malta, Italy (Pisa), France (Versailles), Spain (Barcis), Switzerland, Monaco (Monte-Carlo), Germany (Berlin & Kindberg), England (Newcastle & Rye), Scotland and Denmark. T is a very nice assortment of styles including 3D finials, fancy stems, assorted bowl shapes and a wide variety of toppers. The following is a general overview of the lot. The first Sterling spoon is a vintage cutout style from Vancouver BC, which is engraved in the bowl, and has an applied medallion with Dogwood flower artwork. The second Sterling spoon has Ottawa engraved in the bowl with an etched crested finial and lettered stem. The third Sterling spoon is much older with Gaspe engraved in the bowl and has a carved multi leaf finial & stem. All of these spoons are marked Sterling on the back. The Alpaca silver spoon has a tiny bowl, sombrero finial and Mexico carved down the stem. It is very cute. The pewter spoons in this lot include two crafted & designed by GISH and two others with carved finials & stems. GISH is no longer crafting spoons so these pieces will continue to grow in value in the years to come. The GISH spoons are from Canada's Wonderland Amusement Park with fabulous Fred Flintstone engraved bowl and The Hermitage with Andrew Jackson engraved in the bowl. T is one from Kirkland Lake Ontario with a 3-D miner finial and one from the Scenic Caves in Collingwood Ontario with a 3-D owl finial. Both of these last two spoons have pewter stems and finials but have attached stainless steel bowls and are quite old. I have included a very nice selection of vintage Canadian spoons dating from the late 1960's through to the very early 1980's. These include several styles that I have listed below: 1. Vintage crown finial with enamel metal medallion from Chrysler Park, Stratford, Gray Rocks Inn, Prospect Point, Upper Canada Village and Goderich 2. Vintage enamel & bubble crests from Leduc Alberta, Kamloops B.C., Minnedosa Manitoba, St. Mary's Ontario and beautiful Banff Alberta 3. Vintage cutout finials with applied enamel medallions from International Bridge in Sarnia, White River (coldest spot in Canada), Montreal and Ontario Trillium. T is also one in this style from Grand Bahama Island. The hanging charm spoons in the lot include New Brunswick with red hanging lobster, Ohio with hanging cardinal, Edmonton with hanging Klondike Mike, Hershey's Chocolate World, Walt Disney World with hanging Mickey Mouse, Hawaii with hanging palm tree and Las Vegas with hanging dice. T are seven vintage Commemorative (Oneida) spoons, two from the Christmas series and five from the Mothers Day series. The Christmas spoons are from years 1973 & 1976. The Mothers Day spoons include years 1975, 1977, 1980, 1982 and one that reads just Mothers Day with the traditional rose etching. The 1982 spoon is a light gold-tone while the rest are all silver-tone. Also included in the lot: - A Robbie Burns finial (famous author & poet) - A figural etched finial of Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, TN - 2 vintage bubble crest Christmas spoons - 3 silver-tone spoons that were part of special occasion series including one for bowling, one for graduation day and one for a bridesmaid (these were popular gifts in the mid 1970's) - A Klepa Arts style spoon with colorful transfer ware bowl from Praha - A straight stem, gold-tone spoon with heavy enamel Oriental bird artwork in bowl -...
