This old litho tin advertising thermometer sign say's: "Cold Juicy Delicious! TruAde not Carbonated" along with graphics of their sculpted bottle. It measures 5 3/4" wide, 16" tall and it sticks out from the wall 1/2". It is in very good condition but does have a slight chip of edge paint loss on the upper right corner, lower left corner and lower right corner, see pictures. These could probably be touched up and are not rusty. I date this from some hand writing in pencil on the back that has the date 2-6-62. T is writing on the back that indicates that this is a prototype piece and may be one of a kind, see pictures. T is also a rubber stamp on the back that is photographed. I purchased this thermometer many years ago at the Kane County Flea-Market in St. Charles, Illinois so it came from the right part of the country. I had never tried to read what was said on the back till I did this listing so I did not ask the seller about it's origin. Date 2-6-62 My guess is that Smith was acting as a go

between with the manufacturer to order thermometers

for TruAde and this is a Prototype.
