[zipedit] Enjoy FREE Shipping On All Products! Hey there and welcome! I have collected primarily Matchbox and Hot Wheels secondary for over two decades and kept them up for display. Now I want to help with your hobby while making a living. I cater to collectors of loose and boxed models, HO scale train enthusiasts, car enthusiasts that want a replica of their own car, and more! My niche and primary sales are Matchbox Regular Wheels and early Superfast/Transitionals and therefore I will acknowledge variants, rarities, condition, and details to the best of my knowledge. No I don't know everything but I'm always learning. If you know something that I don't, I'd love the education. Since there are a lot of books out there, I am going to acknowledge the main number and letter of the model. I will then talk about the details and minute differences of the model below. Every picture you see here is taken by me and not copied from other sources. What you see in the photo is what you get. If it's not in the photo, please do not make assumptions. Generally I use 6 pictures per listing so you can see all sides, but if you need additional pictures, please ask and let me know of your specific needs. Below is a more detailed description of what you are purchasing as to variation and condition. I have also provided a more detailed grading scale to give a better idea of what you are purchasing, however please also refer to the pictures. Most of my pieces are in overall great shape and make great displays for years to come. Variation: lime green body with opening/closing doors, red interior and tow hook, unpainted base and grille with tow guide, silver disc wheels with black plastic tires Model Condition: very near mint Box Condition: n/a Additional Notes: Moving parts and wheels operate properly. Paint feels different than most cars. It feels like there's friction or grip when moving my fingers across the paint. Not sure why this is. Noted Damage: n/a Notes on damage: I don't think damage is always a bad thing. Sometimes it can enhance the car depending on your needs. I find some cars look better with tow hooks that are broken off with a clean cut. Ever see a Ferrari haul a boat? Or maybe your train layout has a junk yard. Maybe the damage gives the charm of being loved and played with. I will grade the car's condition first and point out the damage second (if applicable). For example: a car may be near mint, but there's a small crack in the window. My definition of damage is not about the paint chipping or wear and tear, but considered as deformed metal or severely deformed plastic and severed metal or plastic. To give a better idea: bent axles, pushed dome lights, broken tow hooks, cracks, missing windscreens, etc. - I consider dirt, dust, rust, corrosion, paint chipping, scratches to plastic and paint, missing parts such as animals, tires, etc.not to be damage: just wear and tear. Grading Scale For Toy: Mint: I will never give this grade out unless the model is sealed in the package. Package will be graded instead. Very Near Mint: Appears to be in mint condition but may have subtle and unnoticeable flaws. This grade is rarely given. Near Mint: A few tiny paint chips, scratches, and blemishes. Paint is attractive and new looking. Beautiful display piece. Excellent: Some scuffing and paint loss/fading, and/or wear that is noticeable. Overall the piece is presentable. Good: Shows a lot of obvious paint loss and signs of play. Probably more ideal for playing with or restoring. Poor: Well played with. The only way I'd sell this if it was a rare variation. Grading Scale for Box: Mint: Perfect, crisp, and new. Rarely I will give this grade out. Near Mint: Slight shelf wear, bowing, creasing, scuffing, marking, or rips. Excellent: Some shelf wear, bowing, creasing, scuffing, marking, or rips in various areas. Good: Box has noticeable rips and creases. Shelf wear and scuffing are obvious at first glance.
