This Carcharocles megalodon (Extinct Megalodon Shark) Miocene fossil shark tooth was recovered from a land site in Summerville, South Carolina.This lower jaw Meg has sharp serrations, a pale root and bourlette, damage to one root lobe, and a killer variety of colors on the enamel. A mostly complete Meg from a land site that doesn't produce many Megs. The majority of teeth from this location are Oligocene, not Miocene. This tooth is in excellent condition considering that is was reworked into an Oligocene Formation after being eroded from an earlier Miocene Formation.
