Presented is a 63 piece set of sterling silver flatware for 12 (4 piece place settings plus serving pieces) in the Whiting King Albert pattern (pat. 1919). Some of the pieces (see below) are monogramed with a fancy H monogram, and the jelly spoon has a B monogram. Extra pieces include tablespoons, ice tea spoons, flat butter spreaders, a jelly and a sugar spoon. Weight is 58 troy ounces or 1805.4 grams including the knives but counting them only as 1/2 troy ounce or 15.55 grams each (approximate amount of sterling silver on the handles). Mark: Whiting logo, Sterling, and pat. (see photo). This elegant set is in very good vintage condition with no damage noticed, only light use with a few very shallow nicks seen on the black of a few fork tines. Some of the photos are showing reflections of spots not on actual pieces. The knives, in particular, look much better "in person". Included are the following pieces: 8 knives with marked stainless steel, old French style blades 8 3/4" long, no monograms, handles marked with Whiting logo and "sterling handle". 4 knives without stainless steel marking on the blades, old French style 8 3/4" long, H monogram, marked with Whiting logo, Sterling, and pat. 4 flat butter spreaders 5 3/8", H monogram 5 teaspoons 5 7/8" H mono. 7 teaspoons 5 7/8" no monogram 8 forks 7 1/4" no mono. 4 forks 7 1/4" H mono. 8 salad forks 6 1/4" no monogram 4 salad forks 6 1/4" H mono. 2 tablespoons 8 1/4" no monogram 2 tablespoons 8 1/4" H monogram 1 sugar spoon 6" 1 jelly spoon 6 5/8" B monogram 4 ice tea spoons 7 1/4" H monogram 1 all sterling silver master butter 6 3/8"Twenty extra pieces of Whiting King Albert sterling silver flatware are also being presented in another of our auctions that is running at the same.
