1964 Jennings Continental Nevada Club Buckaroo
10c Slot Machine!

I was lucky enough recently to purchase a collection of slot machine that included some great Jennings slot machines. Probably the best one out of the lot was this 100% authentic and original Jennings Continental Buckaroo machine from the famed Nevada Club! This ten cent machine is bone stock original and works like a charm. It's been fully tuned up and tested.
The Jennings Continental machines were specially ordered by the Nevada Club in 1964. At this time, Jennings only had a hand full of employees remaining. Approximately 460 of these machines were made by Jennings using their inventory of Chief mechanism and other parts. The finished product is now considered by collectors the last of the great all mechanical slot machines. The Nevada Club was highlighted these Jennings machines on their second floor in Reno Nevada. Many people today still remember that famed 2nd floor.

Out of those 460 machines, a small minority were the unique and today hard to find 4 reel Buckaroo machines. The Buckaroo is a casino favorite with it's huge variety of payout options and exciting 4 reel action.
In addition to its four reels, this machine also has a shinny chrome platted exterior with red lighted panels and top sign. This machine really is the pinnacle of all mechanical casino machines!
As you can see in the photos the machine is in great original condition. T are no cracks or breaks in the castings. The wood cabinet has a nice patina to it and has no damage. The original red panels looks great. The Nevada Club Buckaroo sign at the top and award sign are also both original and in great shape. All the lights work as they should and really set this machine off in a basement or office!

One of the big changes Jennings made for the Nevada Club was the front opening cabinet. This allowed the casino to access the mechanism much easer than turning the entire cabinet around and then removing a door and back bonnet.
As you can see in the photo above, everything inside is original and complete. All the wiring looks good, lights work, internal hardware all in great condition. The Ace locks on the sides to open the lower front and top separately are present and work.
Someone did put a Jennings cash box under the base plate. The wood base does have a hole in it that the casino used for the overflow of coins. Now the cash box makes it easer for the home user to take the coins out, rather than them going out the bottom.

When this machine came in I was excited to play a rare Continential Buckaroo machine. I was also excited to see if the original mechanism was still in the cabinet. As you may know, its actually rare to find a true casino machine with it's original numbers matching mechanism still together.
To my amazement the serial numbers matched! The original Jennings inspection tag with the number on top and the serial number stamped into the base of the mechanism are the same - 203146!
In the photo of the top of the inspection tag above it may be hard to see, but in pencil it says Continental Buckaroo and 10c is marked. T is absolutely no question that this machine is all original and numbers matching - what a treasure!

The last photos above show the mechanism out of the cabinet. As you can see, it is in great original condition with all the classic casino modifications and repairs. As mentioned above, I have personally tuned this machine up and made sure it works perfectly.
