Here is my much loved VW Beetle 'Herb'. He is a rare 1965 beetle that is has never been restored and as of today (12/10/2013) has just passed another MOT just fine. I'm only his 5th owner from new and I have spent a small fortune on him in the last couple of years to just improve him so I could use him as my every day car if I needed to, which I never had to. He just used to get driven on pleasure runs or days out at the beach. There is a 2inch narrowed front beam, with drop spindles and a very expensive CSP front Disc brake kit. The interior has been replaced with a red vinyl one which looks really smart and like the original I would of imagined. He has rubber matted floors which I think are original and the original radio that still works. The head lining is good but is missing under the rear window. I've also replaced the doors, boot and bonnet seals. I have mountains of receipts and history for him dating back to the late 1960's!! Also as far as I know he is still on his original number plate. When he is cold he can take read more
