I am offering a 67-piece set of Sterling Silver Flatware, Oneida Sterling Silver , the pattern is " Afterglow ." I continue to unwrap personal items. It has been in storage for some time and needs more polishing. My pictures have a yellow cast due to the bright sunlight. The silver flatware is fine and not discolored. The box is not included with the sale since it is very heavy and shows its age. However if any potential buyer wants to spend the extra cost for shipping I will include it with the sale. The total weight of the sterling alone is 6 lbs . The knives "Sterling" mark is on the edge of the handle. The knife blades are neither stainless nor silver. They are very clean and show little wear. All 67 pieces have the Oneida sterling and "Afterglow" signature. This set consists of the following:: 11 Dinner Knives 8.75 inches long 11Dinner Forks 8 inches long 12 Teaspoons 6 inches long 8 Soup Spoons. 6.5 inches long. The bowl of one soup spoon is scratched. It appears someone tried to pry open something with the end. This is the only damaged piece. 9 Salad Forks 6.5 inches long 2 Serving Spoons 8 inches long 1 Serving Fork 8 inches long 1 Gravy ladle 6.5 inches long 12 Shrimp Forks 5.5 inches long This is a nice set and would be a full dinner set for 8. Extra pieces can be replaced. However the prices are high even the small seafood/shrimp forks price at 28.94 each. These seafood/shrimp forks that are a part of this set were wrapped in plastic inside the box and didn't need any cleaning! A replacement Soup spoon is $30.00. According to the Oneida website, this pattern "Afterglow" was made after 1956, which fits in with the date of my grandmother's purchase. All sales are final. It is a salad fork, which brings the total number of salad forks to 10; and the total set is now 68 pieces. The additional weight of this salad fork is about 2 ounces.
