Selling here a HUGE job lot of WADE whimsies + other miniatures that are still quite good quality, including some 1950's / vintage glass ornaments -a bird and a rabbit. I've divided them into rough sets as you can see: Wild Animals - includes buffalo, rhino, giraffes, bear, orangutan etc Garden Friends - includes squirrels, rabbits etc. Domestics - inc. dogs and cats + 4 tortoise of different sizes - 3 are actually little trinket dishes - teh shell lifts off. Dog set trinket dishes / ash trays + larger dog. DISNEY set - includes Lady, Siamese Cat, Scottie, Scamp and the french poodle. Only Lady and Scamp seems to bear the wade insignia though in this set Nursery Rhymes - inc. Jill, Little Boy Blue, and Polly (may be Mother Hubbard - not sure) + a leprechaun which I think is one of the more rare pieces?? All but three are perfect - the little donkey in first pic seems to have a little mark on his leg, the little collie dog seems to have a white mark too where glaze has rubbed off and one large tortoise has broken off his leg but I've included him in case anyone needs a perfect lid. Large collection, ideal for beginner, trader etc. I've tried to photograph the Wade insignia but my camera is not great so reflects a bit. Not all the smaller ones carry the Wade inisignia but I don't think they all do??? I'm no expert, just selling read more
