is a RARE 1894 Singer treadle sewing machine in very good condition and in perfect working order with a very good stitch quality. The machine is a Singer number 27 machine with the vibrating shuttle bobbin, 5 bobbins and the bobbin case are included. I have researched Singer deacls, but I have not found this particular design, in all my years of working with Singer machines I've never seen this pattern on any Singer machine which leads me to believe it is a RARE design. The decals are in beautiful condition and the Nickel face plate and the Nickle plating on the hand wheel is nice and shiny. The cabinet is as nice as the machine the finish and all the carvings are in beautiful condition. The cabinet is made of Quartered and Tiger Oak, the grain is beautiful. The treadle base is also in very good condition and in perfect working order with the original Gold paint on the word SINGER and on the Singer emblems on the treadle sides. T is a variety of attachments in a Black painted Tin attachment box; Ruffler, Mulit Slotted Binder, Adjustable Hemmer, Adjustable Zipper/Cording foot, Edger Stitcher, a Leather Belt , 5 Shuttle Bobbins and the bobbin case. The serial number on this machine is 12254532 it was made in 1894. This is a beautiful 114 year old Singer treadle sewing machine. The machine runs very smoothly and easily, it has just been lubricated. I will ship this treadle Greyhound to save on shipping fees. It can be shipped FedEx if you must have it delivered to your door but it will be a bit more than shipping Greyhound. You can also pick it up or I can deliver in certain areas feel free to email or call .
After I did some research and some very helpful people generously gave me help to find information about this machine, I have some information about this machine. The decal design is called Persian, the decals are beautiful and the colors are true and vivid. The machine is a VS2 number 27, another not too common aspect. The Persian machine was made from 1894 to 1903. If you look at the pictures of the back of the machine, the back plate had the Persian decals and not a Nickel back plate. The first Persian machines were made with the back plate with the Persian decals and the later machines were made with the Nickel back plate.
