65 year old Estate find!! Offered is a lot of 7 fabulous green vintage antique Deco Bakelite sewing buttons, 1 Bakelite green brooch and 1 deeply carved Bakelite green buckle, 1 huge double green buckle with metal filigree and 1 huge double rounded buckle with a Celluloid base and elaborately carved layers of black Bakelite on the front surface. 9 buttons, 1 brooch and 1 large beige buckle test + with Simichrome polish. Check my other auctions for more old buttons (including a lot more Bakelite) from the same estate collection. The 4 green slanted barrel buttons measure 1" L x a 1/4" W at the base. Our round button, with a rusted metal shank, has deeply carved layers and a center circle, measures 1-1/4" in diameter x 1/8" thick. Our green facial mask brooch measures 1-1/2" W x 1-5/8" L. The old metal safety pin attachment does work. The very small 3 layered inlay button, with a rusted metal shank, measures 1/2" x 1/2" x a depth of 1/4". Our oblong dark green button with the 4 central cutout lines measures 1-3/8" L x 7/8"W x nearly 1/4" thick at the slightly domed center. Our 4-leaf clover green button measures 1" L x 1" W. Each of our large round green belt buckle sections measure 3" in diameter x 1/8" thick . These replicate the look of Bakelite but do not test positive for Bakelite. Both have beautifully intact metal filigree and t is very minimal rusting on its 2 metal attachment pieces . Lastly, the large beige Celluloid buckle set, measuring 2-5/8" in diameter each x 1/16" thick , does have rusting on the back metal attachment pieces and rough textured back surfaces in the middle of the buckles as pictured. Again, the black ring and central surface Nouveau design tests + for Bakelite. All buttons have some wear or light scratches from age and use. Our small layered laminated button and huge green round buckle has some edge nicks. . Our buttons have no animal, cigarette, or musty smells.WE ACCEPT PAYPAL, a MO, or a CASHIER'S CHECK.
