Group of 7 Halloween postcards. Attractive young girl with witches hat holding a carved pumpkin. Says " HALLOWEEN PUCK THE SPRITE WEAVES TO NIGHT FORTUNES BRIGHT". Hidden in picture in very small print ...1912 CR Gibson... , need a loupe to read it. Back stamp THE PINK OF PERFECTION (with flower) THE FAIRMAN CO NY. Cards are blk/wht almost a charcoal type. Each card has a punch hole near top. 5 of the 7 has name and number written on back. We think these were destination or sale areas? Cards have all been trimmed on top edge, possibly when they were cut from manufacturing sheet. They are all same size and the cut edge is same color as other sides so we assume it was done a long time ago, not to give it a fresh edge. Measure 3 1/2" by 5 3/8". Cards are very good condition other than defects mentioned. No Reserve :: Payment must be received within ten (10) days of auction end.
