This week I am very pleased to be able to offer you some incredible pieces of Red Wing, Watt Ware and some very desirable Depression Glass. This auction offers you A 7" RED WING CAP BOWL with FULL PANELS AND RIDGES WITH ITS ORIGINAL LID. Red Wing Stoneware, An Identification and Value Guide by Dan DePasquale, Gail Peck and Larry Peterson, shows this bowl on page 104 with a value of $400.00-$450.00. Their book also states that " most were never signed". The bottom of this bowl has a 7 C . The bowl is mint in every sense of the word. T are no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. The lid of the bowl has a small manufacturing chip on the outside rim, which is partially covered by glaze. T is one very small hairline crack on the outside rim of the lid which does go through to the inside and can be seen in the close up picture. Even with that one defect, it is so rare to find a bowl and lid in such excellent condition, that this is still a very desirable set. *** T is a reserve of $150.00 on this set.*** Thanks for viewing my auction.
