Up for auction: 1970's FENTON 10" TULIP VASE ROSE DESIGN with BUTTERFLY Handpainted by D. Bunner #7255 When the maple leaf decals were used up Fenton started using painters to hand paint designs on their burmese glass. The rose pattern, as seen on this vase, was the first hand painted design used by Fenton. This is your opportunity to own one of the very first hand painted Fenton designs. This hand painted vase also has a butterfly on the lip.In the book 'Fenton Burmese Glass" by Debbie and Randy Coe, they show this vase on page 47 and value this vase at $165.00 ( WITHOUT the butterfly ).
