This auction is for 70 sheets of U.S. Postage Stamps in different denominations. There are 44 different types of stamps from .01 cents to .15 cents with a total face value of $200.91.
The problem with these stamps, is that they have all stuck to the glassine sheets that they were stored in. I don't know if they can all be separated from the glassine without doing damage to the stamps. I did separate a couple of sheets (not counted or shown) by wetting the back of the glassine and pulling them off gently. They came off easily and I will use them for postage after adding more glue to the backs to make sure they stick. We have had these stamps stored in boxes that have drawn some dampness since 1994. Almost all of the faces of the stamps are in very good condition. I will point out any flaws that I recognize with an **. You may see other flaws that I am not familiar with, so please view the first 7 camera pictures and the last 5 that are scans carefully and bid accordingly, because there is very little that I can tell you about these stamps.

I am not a dealer or a collector, just someone trying to place family memorabilia with those who can enjoy it before our children or grand children put it all into a dumpster. I feel that it is time to pass these stamps on to someone before any further storage damage comes to them. Our children and older grand children want no part of them, and the younger grandchildren want them for stickers. I think that the sheets I am putting on would make a great young persons perfect starter collection, (such as a cub scout or boy scout or girls scout), after the adult collector went through them to find the desirable ones for their own collection. These would also make a dealer or store owner a nice lot of stamps that would not cost much per stamp.
