Up for auction:Greek-made by "THE MOVING WORLD OF MINI COOPER" set, made by Pappas Bros of Greece, in the early/mid-70's.The set consists of a red wind-up Mini, approximately in 1/18 scale, with tow hook and caravan.The wind up mechanism unfortunately is not properly functional, but that could be repaired by a specialist.The box displays a very cute litho scene of the car and caravan.This is not likely to be found anyw else, except from professional toy auctioneers.These were made in the '70's, and most Minis of that make were actually packed in generic blister packs-the earlier litho boxed ones are extremely uncommon and after-sought!Pappas bros was a company that unfortunately didn't stay in business for too long, so very few of these models were available in the first place.This one is even rare than the "Mister P" Mini cooper.The box is nice,fresh and crisp!Not likely to find this box again ANYW ELSE.Thank you for looking-good luck on bidding!
