Wonderful Old 1970's Tin Metal Lunch pail yes, we used to carry our lunches in these...long ago and far away... This is made from tin, in the shape of a Mail Box (My Dad was a Postal Carrier) U.S. Mail - really cool with litho on all four sides, red plastic handle, shaped just like a rural route mail box Red, W hite and Blue Hinged to open, clips to shut, metal holder on the inside for thermos (missing) ( BUT I saw one on ebay a few days ago, listing for about $28.00!) Yes, it's seen a few lunches in it's time, of course, it is used, but SO retro cool! Great collector's item! Pair up with the Avon Mail Bottle I have listed and you have yourself a great Postal display! This item/s comes from a smoke free home I try to describe my items to the best of my ability, honestly and accurately To err is human; to forgive - divine!
