As a collector and not a dealer , rest assured all items sold are new in their respective boxes unless s tated otherwise. Just as items received were inspected for damage, missing parts, etc, pri or to shipment they are inspected again for the same. No seller can be expected to be responsible for any item once in the hands of the parcel carrier which is why I either use custom fitted boxes or make my own in which to pack the item as best as possible. Fitted boxes are boxes that are the exact specs to the item being shipped and no padding can be added, same way most items come in to the country. The custom boxes I make will have ample amounts of packing peanuts and/or bubblewrap placed in them to help eliminate any potential for damage in transit as is possible. However if the parcel carrier is going to pull a Detective Ventura and treat the box like a football then no amount of padding will matter and the potential for damage is highly increased, obviously.
