This is a Focke-Wulf 190 ‘Anton’- painted, assembled and finished for display. This is to a good standard in 1/72 scale;depicted with landing gear down. Represents a machine from 1943 with low-visibility splinter camouflage; with under-wing MG151 gun-pods as fitted to aircraft assigned to bomber-destroying duties. The FW 190 A when first introduced was more than a match for the Spitfire Mark V. It possessed a phenomenal rate of roll, climb and speed combined with a small profile and armor protection. From the inital 'Anton' variants; F and G versions were developed for fighter-bomber duties; the D versions had superior high-altitude performance. It could be argued to be one of the most effective fighters of it’s time alongside the Spitfire, the Bf 109 and the Mustang. I cannot make guarantees as to my models being perfect in technical or historical accuracy – only that I do my best with the reference materials to hand.
