Up for auction is a group of 1:72 scale model tanks and military vehicles. Most are missing parts (wheels, tracks, hatches, etc.) and some have been poorly assembled. Some are partially assembled. This would make a good inventory of model parts. My brother and I purchased the whole collection at a garage sale. We wanted the vehicles for wargaming and needed to rapidly increase the size of our armies. Most are WWII unless noted. Please look carefully at the pictures. They can explain this lot better than I can! The inventory of the plastic models breaks down as follows. 11 German tanks (1 is completely unassembled), 4 halftracks/ 4 US Tanks, 4 trucks (1 is completely unassembled)/ 2 Russian Tanks for a total of 25 vehicles. Also included is 2 German rocket launchers, 1 flak gun and 3 anti-tank guns and a British Bofors gun. A Viet Nam era Cobra Helicopter, a bag of miscellaneous vehicle parts and a bag of HO scale parts to round out the plastic models. Ten diecast metal military vehicles made by Zylmex are included. Eight of these are US halftracks. All of the halftracks but one has had the seats removed and several have been painted or had decals applied. One Zylmex jeep (painted) and one tank (missing wheels) bring the total to 10. There is one Matchbox truck that has been painted in camouflage. Also included is a group of 69 read more
