From the Walt Disney Classics Collection ... Disney's The Little Mermaid - Classical Carp This whimsical porcelain figurine depicts the Carp with Harp featured in the Under The Sea musical sequence of Disney's modern classic The Little Mermaid . The original item number for this piece was 41194. Following production of this piece, the Walt Disney Classics Collection adopted a new number scheme. The item was renumbered 1028668. This piece was the 1998 Walt Disney Classics Collection Gold Circle Dealer Exclusive. It was only made available to Walt Disney Classics Collection Society Members through Gold Circle Dealers. It was produced in a limited edition of 10000 pieces. The Carp stands approximately four and one half inches in height. Its fins and tail are "plussed" with opalescent paint. The harpstrings are metal. Both the unopened Certificate of Authenticity and the underside of the piece bear the special Gold Circle Dealer Exclusive stamp. The incised annual production mark for this piece is the Music Stand from Walt Disney's The Band Concert. This signifies that the piece was produced in 1997 - the first of two production runs. No Walt Disney Classics Little Mermaid collection is complete without this piece. The original suggested retail price for this piece was $150.00. We offer this sculpture at 75% off
