75 pieces of beautiful, late 19th century to early 20th century hand enameled Mason's Croysdale pattern ironstone china.
Lovely colorful flowers in the center of the plates and on the sides of the bowls and cups, with a fine border edging done in green. Very pretty, and delicate design. Each piece bears a vintage Masons crown mark, with England and the pattern name of Croysdale, or the pattern number of 2663 hand written on the bottom. Entire estate collection has been in the family since early 1900s. Great way to get a huge, elegant old collection by one the great master china makers. I'll list all the pieces and their dimensions. They're all in the photos. I don't really know the official name for the particular bowls or plates, but I'll give it a shot: 9 - 5 inch soup cups (dessert bowls?) 3 - 9.5" oval vegetable bowls 1 - 9" oval vegetable bowl 2 - 11" platters 1 - 9" platter 1- 13.5" platter 1- 16.5" platter 2 - 9.25" round bowl 1 - 5.5" round deep soup bowl 1 gravy boat(?) with attached platter base 2 coffee cups 6 tea cups 6 tea cup saucers 12 - 6.25" cup saucers 9 - 6.75" side plates 16 - 5.75" side plates 5 - 5.25 fruit bowls 5 - 9.75" dinner plates 2 - 8.75" bread or salad plates 12 - 8" bread or salad plates A number of these have a small chip or two. No repairs or glued parts. Bulk of the collection is pristine. A few - the most frequently used - and hence most washed - pieces like the dinner plates have some of the underlying stencil design showing through w the paint used to be. I've included a photo of this from the few pieces with this condition. This is a very heavy collection to ship. I suspect I would split it up into three or four boxes. Carefully padding all the pieces. I will ship via UPS since that should be the most economical I'll cover the cost of insuring the shipment. Cost to ship might run 70-90 dollars. But I can provide an exact price once I know its final packed weight and w this collection is heading. I will ship overseas, but be prepared for a very pricey shipping bill. Email with questions or for other photos. Thanks for checking out this exciting collection of vintage Mason ironstone dinnerware. Modest starting bid, and no reserve!
