76 FRANKLIN LIBRARY BOOK " SOUND & the FURY " FAULKNER This is the offering of an excellent Franklin Library leather bound book titled " The Sound and the Fury " by William Faulkner.5 This is dated 1976 and is a limited edition with it being from the collection of the 100 Greatest books of all time. This book has 343 pages and the cover is done in a blue leather with gold accents on the the cover and also on the spine area. The page edges are done in gold leaf and the interior of the cover is done in a light green cloth material with a green matching satin bookmark. The book looks to be in excellent condition and does not appear to have been read.IT DOES HAVE A WEAR AREA ON THE GOLD LEAF PAGE EDGES AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTO.Not sure how it came to be t as the book is in excellent shape. I also include the paper booklet called " Notes from the Editor" which has 22 pages. These separate booklets are often not offered with the book.It is not shown in the photos but is clean and in excellent shape too! Winning bid pays shipping and insurance for media rate in the US.
