78th Inf Division Newspaper, The Flash, 13 Feb 1919 This 13 February 1919 issue of The Flash is just the second issue of the periodical. It is but four pages in length, but contains many items and articles about the 78th Infantry Division and its actions and activities. First page tells of heroism and D.S.C. Citations of members of the division, and tells of how the newspaper was names, and reports on the division's success at boxing. Other sports news is on back page. Some reference to the first issue is noted on the second page, along with some letters from members. T are interesting notes about division officers being sent to Russian POW camps in Germany. Etc. Printed in France. Condition: folds across and down through center; some wrinkling and creases. Roughness on right edge. Otherwise VG. 14 1/2" X 20 3/4". Our Policies

If you do not respond because we couldn't contact you, we will treat as any other non-payment. · We thank you for your interest in our listings. · A Few Words on Postage Rate Changes - As you are most likely aware the US Postal Service has raised it's rates effective 5/14/07. As a result we've had to increase our rates accordingly, as a new class of mail has been introduced for Envelopes with Stiffeners . We mail all of our items enclosed in plastic with two cardboard stiffeners to protect the ephemera, so what previously was first class mail with a base fee of 39 cents for the first ounce is now a 97 cent for the first ounce.
