MUSEUM QUALITY SEVEN PIECES FOR ONE PRICE 18th CENTURY ENGLISH BLOWN GLASS WINE STEMS BLOWN PATTERN MOLDED BOWL AIR TWIST STEM SHARP PONTIL I SHIP WORLDWIDE Being offered in this sale is a set of seven, bell-tone, blown glass English wine glasses with vertical ribbed, pattern molded, bowls and air twist stems that date to the mid to later 1700s. I have not had a single 18th century air twist to offer in more than a year, yet alone a matching group of seven. This wonderful collection came privately from an estate in Greenwich, Ct. They measure roughly 7 1/8" tall and are 3" in diameter across the base. They have a sharp pontil which on a few of them still have remnants of iron. Other than one small flake on the foot rim on one piece, all of the the glasses are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding. Its amazing that this set has stayed together for more than 200 years. Please feel free to email with any questions. I always guarantee everything that I sell to be as described.
