This seventh report of the New York State Fish & Game Commission includes 90 colorful illustrations by S.F. Denton (fish), Oliver Kemp (mammals) & J. L. Ridgway (birds-some illustrations may be by other artists as well, as some of them are unsigned.) The 9 3/8" x 12" prints include 75 fish, 1 eel, 2 lobster, 2 mammals and 10 birds (shore birds, song birds & a duck or two.) I have not sorted the prints, so I don't know if there are any doubles included or not. I purchased this set (and the other I have listed now) just as they are. Nothing has been added or removed from either set by me (I can't be sure what a previous owner may have done, so as such the set is being sold as is with no returns-and no reserve or buy it now.) Overall, the prints are in good to very good condition, but they all have some age discoloration (some more than others) and a few have some staining. There are no large tears and no tape repairs on any of the prints, but a few have minor edge and corner wear, small edge tears & creasing. The colors on the prints are still bright and vivid with no fading (the prints are not "yellow" as they appear in photo #1-it's just the way the light hit them in that particular shot.) Most (almost all?) of the wear I note above would probably not be seen if the prints were matted & framed. Zoom or enlarge the last five photos as an example of the wear. The green cloth covered cardboard box for the report is in just poor to fair condition. I believe the set was published around 1902.
